JAL would like to comment to NPRM FAA-2008-0269.

Summary:
Ref/A/instructed that ref/B/ refer to ref/C/and ref/D/both dated November 10, 2006.
However, JAL confirmed following condition.
* The original issue date of JAL received ref/C/and ref/D/service bulletin are
February 28, 2007.
* Ref/B/Boeing service bulletin dose not specified the revision status of the
reference Honeywell service bulletin ref/C/and ref/D/.
* Ref/E/Boeing AIPC indicated the revision number 3 of ref/C/ and ref/D/.
* Original ref/C/ and ref/D/ dated February 28, 2007, could not applied to actual
aircraft per some parts interference problem.
* Honeywell dose not provide previous revision status of ref/C/and /D/, and
recommended that operator need to apply current revision status of ref/C/ and
ref/D/.
* The current revision status of ref/C/ and ref/D/are number 4, dated March 25,
2008.
Request:
1. In paragraph (f) Note 2: JAL propose either to delete revision status of the
reference service bulletin ref/C/and ref/D/.
2. If cannot delete both revision status, revise revision status of ref/C/and ref/D/ to
applicable revision number 3 or current revision number 4. And if reflect previous
revision status, order to Honeywell for release the specified revision number of
ref/C/ and ref/D/
