Docket No. FAA-2008-0414; Directorate Identifier 2007-NM-095-AD DESCRIPTION: In paragraph (k) of Optional Terminating Action, replacing with a new corrosion resistant steel aft link in accordance with Boeing SB 747-27-2371 terminates the repetitive inspection and ovehaul requirement for the aft link only. Now another aft link is available. The latest aft links, KSL118928B (inboard flap) and KSL118822B (outboard flap) are shown in paragraph 3.B.5 of Boeing SB 747- 27-2280 Revsion 6, not shown in Boeing SB 747-27-2371. Boeing SB 747-27-2280 Revison 6 states that the latest aft links do not require repeat overhaul. Therefore JAL would like FAA to add the latest aft links in paragraph (k) of this AD to terminates the requirement of paragraph (f), (g), and (j) of this AD for the aft link only.
