Sir,
I am wondering why you would not simply ask for the servo plug gasket p/n
365533 to be replaced by a proper one as a terminating action. This would cause
only minor efforts and costs.
The repetitive action every 50 hours on the other hand is causing a continuous
effort and trouble, has to be borne always in mind and involves additional costs
over a long period.
I cannot agree, furthermore, with the demand that the action of just checking a
plug by attempting to turn it by hand can only be done by an FAA-licensed
mechanic. I as a pilot and owner are perfectly capable of doing so myself in the
course of preventive maintenance. FAA-licensed mechanics are not so readily
available in all parts of the world - at least not every 50 hours - and this demand
would provoke further nuisance which seems quite avoidable.
Kind regards
Klaus Dreier
