1- Marking of the MRS, per para (c), would require the removal of the MRS as the
flange is located inside of the MGB. This would require the removal of the
MGB/MRH assembly and partial disassembly of the MGB, resulting in an
extended period of A/C down time and lost revenue. Since a component history
card is required, could an entry be made on it identifying the MRS as REL?
2- Note 2 after para (i) mentions the TS-281 marking but the MRS can have a TS-
281 marking but not have oversized dowel pin holes. This could result in a
serviceable MRS being rejected. We had previously confirmed this thru
correspondence with Mr. James Johnson, Sikorsky transmission dept, and Mr.
Steve Graves, Quality Control, HSI.
3- We have had steel plates, reference SB 61B35-53A, on order from Sikorsky for
over six months and have been recently advised that delivery may be in August
2008. We believe that consideration for complaince time should be given when
replacement parts are not available.
