1) The ADG is a rotable serialized component. Any individual ADG can be installed on any applicable aircraft. The Airworthiness Directive should simply be applicable to the P/N and specific S/Ns of the ADG. Including the aircraft S/Ns that the ADGs were originally installed on confuses compliance requirements. 2) Under "Actions and Compliance" para. (f)(2), it states "... no ADG...may be installed...unless the identification plate of the ADG is identified with the symbol "24-2". FAR 121 carriers have approved methods for showing compliance of ADs. What is important is that the modification is done.... not that the data plate has "24-2". Responsibility for compliance lies within the management organization. The paragraph should read "... no ADG...may be installed...unless the ADG has been modified in accordance with SB 601R-24-113".
