I am vehemently opposed to the proposal as it effects aircraft dispatchers. To say that a contracted dispatcher who would hold 50% responsibility of flights carrying passengers and who rests as the eyes and ears of the pilots, would be as attentitive for each of his flights as would a dispatcher who has a vested interest and a great familiarity of the company. Safety needs to be the #1 priority and i find it absurded that anyone could propose outsourcing dispatchers. Next will be contracted pilots or better yet remote controlled aircrafts carrying hundreds of passengers with no regard for passenger safety.
