The approval of T-254 will be helpful to all local Houston pilots who hangar on the West side of Houston, as well as all pilots transitioning from West to East around the vast Houston metropolitan airspace. As the volunteer AOPA airport representative for Sugar Land Regioanl Airport, I can tell you that we have a significant number of flight operations that have currently have limited options to transition through or around Houston Class B airspace. Most of the aircraft are IFR and GPS equipped. T-254 will help to provide an additional option for pilots of these aircraft. Thank you for your time.
