The engines noted in the Pratt and Whitney Service Bulletin, Transport Canada
AD, and the draft FAA AD (JT15D-5; -5B; -5F; and -5R) are not installed on any
Cessna products (excluding the -5 used on the T-47?s which should not be an
issue). Therefore Cessna Engineering recommends that all references to Cessna
aircraft be removed from the AD. The issue noted in the AD has been reviewed by
Cessna Engineering and found not to be applicable to Cessna products with
JT15D installations. Included are the PWC SB, TC AD, and Cessna letter
addressing applicability for your reference.
