Comment: This comment pertains to any FAA approved repairs performed as a result of findings from any of the inspections required by the proposed AD, NPRM Docket No. FAA-2008-0898. All such repairs that would receive an AMOC to any of the repetitive inspections required by this AD (in the repaired area) should automatically be considered as having received AMOC to the respective, and equivalent inspections required by AD 2003-18-10 for the respective Structural Significant Items (SSI) # 53-80-101 B,C,D and E as listed in S/B 767-53A0147, paragraph 1.F. “Approval” , without the operator separately applying for such an AMOC. It is desired that the above comment be incorporated either directly into the language of the proposed rule or alternatively, be incorporated into a revision of the service bulletin 767-53A0147, to be issued prior to the AD effective date.
