There needs to be a full AND independent investigation of US Airways Flight
#1549 that crashed into the Hudson River, NY on Jan 15, 2009.
Furthermore, a list of the number of unsafe planes and the airlines operating them
along with the results of the required tests needs to be made public. After the
almost tragedy in the Hudson on January 15, 2007 and the "engine stall" on the
same plane 2 days earlier, the American public needs to know they are flying on
safe planes. It is up the FAA to provide Proof, Real detailed proof, which shows
beyond the shadow of a doubt that we are not putting our lives at risk when flying
the affected Airbus planes.
The attached January 15, 2009 news story regarding these engines is very
disturbing.

"CFM56-5B engines are used to power all of the aircraft in the single-aisle Airbus
A320 family, including A318, A319, A320 and A321 planes. Other CFM56 variants
power Boeing 737s and other Airbus aircraft."
If the FAA does not provide the truth in this matter, the members to the U.S.
Congress and U.S. Senate should compel them to do so.
