FAA has released the subject NPRM concerning CFM56-5B/P and CFM56-5B/2P?EGT monitoring. My concern is the following: Installation Prohibition (h) After the effective date of this AD, do not install FADEC software version 5.B.Q or any earlier software versions to any of the engines affected by this AD. There should be alleviation?for CFM56-5B/2P engines as there is no new FADEC sw version available, and?earlier version 5.B.M must be used.
