When the fuel in tank is below -10ºC you have to "check" the engine before top of
descent; after that you have to "clean" the FOHE entrance putting the engine in
idle for 30 seconds.
Eventually, this "check" could lead to an engine rollback. If this is true, it seems
to me that a previous "clean" of the FOHE entrance would be a good practice.
Alternatively, if you are confident enough that putting the engine in idle will melt
the ice, this "check" would be unnecessary.
