The "Posi-Latch" is the first real solution to the nose baggage door problem. When installed, the door can not open regardless if the Piper latch is operational or not. I still maintain that the Piper latch should be operational and maintained in an airworthy condition, but if an AD becomes mandatory on the door latch, it should be backed up with this fail safe latch system.
