Directorate Identifier 2008-NM-214-AD, Tracinda is requesting the Applicability per paragraph (c) be revised to include Boeing Service Bulletin 737-57-1293 Revision 2 dated September 28, 2011. This revision 2 has new data that should be incorporated. In addition, some operators have complied with the instructions per revision 2 and should be credited for those actions. Tracinda is requesting the Corrective Actions per paragraph (f) be revised to include Boeing Service Bulletin 737-57-1293 Revision 2 dated September 28, 2011. This revision 2 has new data that should be incorporated. In addition, some operators have complied with the instructions per revision 2 and should be credited for those actions. Paragraph (f) should allow for a 36 month compliance time so that operators may comply with these requirements during a heavy maintenance check.
