In paragraphs (f) (2 through 6 (i) and (ii) the references to perform these
inspections are IAW GEAE SB CF34-AL SB 72-0250 Revision 1 dated November
26, 2008.
In par 1. Planning Information under sub paragraph "A." "Effectivity" it states that
this SB (72-0250) is applicable to all CF34-3A1/-3B1 engines which have not
complied with CF34-AL S/B 72-0245 (latest version).
Further, it says that it "...is only recommended for engines that have fan blades
identified by serial number in CF34-AL S/B 72-0245 (latest version) installed which
are greater than 1,200 cycles since new (CSN)."
Therefore, based on these statements which are outside of the "Accomplishment
Instructions" under par 3 as required by each of these paragraphs, Air Wisconsin
requests that these paragraphs be qualified to apply only to those engines which
have not had GE SB 72-0245 performed. OR to state that compliance with GE SB
72-0245 revision 1 dated July 3, 2008 terminates the requirements of paragraphs (f)
(2) through (f)(6)(ii).
