Comment/Request #1:
As a pilot that frequently flies east/west along the Lake Erie shoreline in a GA aircraft, I've encountered numerous occasions where after being cleared through the CLE Class B, ATC will vector me way out over the lake at a relatively low altitude, which is very unsafe due to the water temperature and glide distance should I have an engine problem. When I fly under the Class B, I cannot get close enough to the shoreline for the same reasons. I am requesting lifting the 1900' & 3000' airspace floors and/or creating a VFR Flyway through that area.
Comment/Request #2:
As a pilot that also frequently flies between the eastern Cleveland suburban airports (KCGF, KLNN), and the greater Columbus & Cincinnati airports in a GA aircraft, I've encountered numerous occasions where after being cleared through the CLE Class B, ATC will vector me way out east and then north, which adds an inordinate amount of time and fuel expense. When I fly under the Class B, I find my route takes me close to many antenna towers (antenna farms) along my route. I am requesting creating a VFR Flyway through that area.
