Due to these specific accidents and incidents developing from specific icing conditions i believe it is absolutely necessary to amend the regulations for icing conditions. Amending these regulations, which will require the installation of ice protection or changes to the flight manual, would have a significant mark on the amount of accidents and incidents that have been prevented. There have been many studies/research/experiments performed on aircraft involved in icing conditions and these regulation proposals will prevent many unnoticed events. Ice detection equipment will tell each specific crew the precise time to activate the icing equipment and an update to the flight manual will ultimately produce the same. These regulation is brought forth to make the skies safer, so aviation can continues to evolve and operate many years with as few accidents and incidents as possible.
