What I want to comment on is the wording in this AD (two instances) where it states "We are issuing this AD to prevent the release of a high-pressure (HP) turbine blade, which could result in an engine power loss or in-flight shutdown of one or more engines, resulting in an inability to continue the flight." This gives the wrong impression of the potential severity of this occurance as a turbine blade failure will only result in the in-flight shutdown of the engine it occurs on, not any of the others. The problem is if release of a single HP turbine blade should occur on more than one engine on the same flight, this then could result in multiple engine loss of power or in-flight shutdowns. It is the multiple event that presents a potential unsafe condition to the aeroplane.
