It is respectfully submitted that having complied with Service Bulletin 150-25-055 the operator (or MRO) cannot know with certainty that the old seals have been removed or if new seals installed are in compliance with flammability requirements because neither the old nor the news seals are identified with a manufacturer's mark on the seal as stated in the SB. These seals are identical in size, shape, texture and color. In this instance it is argued that the new seals should be identifiable for future compliance confirmation by means other than a paper trail coming from the same aircraft manufacturer.
