AD 2009-04-11 required In-Rush current measurement and subsequent change if reading below 1.6. Mesa requests to use a records check to comply with section (g)(2) of NPRM 2009-NM-042-AD. Reasoning is that removal of AOAs to confirm S/N that are already known due to replacement required by AD 2009-04-11 could damage to the units. AOAs in nature are delicate instruments.
