As regards NPRM FAA 2009-NE-37-AD, JAL would like to provide you with the following comments: As subject NPRM states, IAE SB No. V2500-ENG-72-0601 Revision 1 only specifies certain S/N engines in effectivity section. Therefore JAL's V2525-D5 engines is not listed in effectivity section of SB V2500-ENG-72-0601 Revision 1 . However our V2525-D5 engine have to perform special cleaning procedure of HPC 3-8 Drum by IAE SB No. V2500-ENG-72-0601 to comply with this proposed AD at the next piece parts exposure of HPC 3-8 Drum. JAL consider IAE SB No. V2500-ENG-72-0601 Revision 1 should be revised to add all applicable engine including V2525-D5 engine of this proposed AD in effectivity section before being issued this proposed AD.
