Goodmorning, reviewing content of AD 2008-11-01 rev. 01 the most important change introduced is the introduction of the single MPD section 9 approval valid to be in compliance with this AD. This means that anytime the section 9 is revised, airlines are not more in compliance with this AD till a further AD revision is not issued to add the related section 9 revision to the AD paragraphs. Previously the statement "Accomplishing the actions required by this paragraph in accordance with a later revision of the MPD is an acceptable method of compliance if the revision is approved by the Manager, Seattle ACO." was avoiding this problem. This change will cause an increase of workload for operators that anytime a reference document is changed an AD revision will be issued to cover the change is the content of the AD request is not changed. Moreover will let operators to not be, formarly, in compliance with an AD in the meantime the AD is revised when instead, practically, they are.
