I regularly fly east/west across the state of North Carolina. The RNAV T routes are seldom recognized/respected by the Charlotte ATC. Low level IFR routing through Charlotte airspace is unrealistic. Therefore, I am encouraged to fly VFR to save considerable time. Among my flying buddies, Charlotte ATC has always had a reputation of being arrogant and disrespectful. Please work to improve this situation. Thank you.
