UPS would like to submit the following comments. • To date we have not had or found any damaged wires from a migrating ceiling panel hinge pin. • Boeing's service bulletin does not provide enough detail to properly identify the wire bundles that need to be inspected if a hinge pin is found migrated. Our concern is the “approximate location of damage wire bundles” as stated in the SB could allow maintenance personnel to miss damaged wire bundles since the SB is not specific on the location or do they provide the wire bundle numbers. UPS supports the NPRM but request that a SB revision is issued with details on which wire bundle/s need to be inspected if a migrating hinge pin is found.
