Bombardier Aerospace supports the proposed changes to 25.1316 (a) and (b) as they clarify the functional and system performance expectations. As the FAA has stated, functional performance is an important basis of evaluation, given that systems can be responsible for multiple functions on modern aircraft.<br> We also agree with the reasoning for the removal of the compliance instructions in 25.1316 (c).<br><br> Thank you for this opportunity to comment.
