The new AD fails to include the SD3-30, SD3 Sherpa and
SD3-60 Sherpa, all of which are called up in the referenced EASA MCAI .
Hence the table on page 12156, and Table 3 on page 12158 are incomplete. Table 3 should be identical to Table 2, except it should be modified with the later publication reference numbers as presented in the EASA MCAI.
Similarly para (j) also on page 12158 is incomplete.
As such, there may need to be a reconsideration of the "cost of compliance" as reported on page 12156.
Perhaps there was consideration of the SD3 Sherpa and SD3-60 Sherpa not being on the US civil registry, and hence they could be excluded, but to the best of our knowledge there are still some SD3-30 aircraft operating on the US civil registry - so maybe there is only a need to also include the SD3-30 ?
Additionally, there is an erroneous sentence at the end of para (h) mid-column page 12157, referring to "longitudinal skin joints in the fuselage pressure shell." - this clearly does not belong here as the SD3 are not pressurised, and this bears no relation to SD3 fuel system safety.
