If any changes are to be made to Chicago’s class bravo airspace the floor should be raised from 3000/3600 ft over lake Michigan to at least 4500ft. Since the mayor had his way with Meigs there are not many options for making it safely to another airport in the event of an emergency with any energy to spare, and raising the floor over the lakeshore would make the area safer, and open up a couple more options for VFR pilots flying in the Chicago area
