I don't want the class B airspace around Detroit expanded for the simple reason that as a VFR pilot flying out of Oakland Southwest (Y47), trying to get clearance through the Bravo airspace is NOT granted most of the time! The time it will take to go further around, or try to go over will increase. That will force people to try to go under the veils. I don't know if you ever tried to go under a class Bravo veil like Chicago, but it is very very dangerous. Planes everywhere. You will create a more dangerous situation in a congested area. The airspace is suppose to be for ALL aircraft, not just for the large ones. If you do anything, I would like to see a decrease in the size of the Detroit Bravo airspace. Mike Tamm
