Request the FAA to review Glider Federation of Australia (GFA) AD 369 issue 1. It appears that the GFA was/has been working this issue for sometime and have a fix for the same. No need to reinvent the wheel if the GFA AD allows the ships to be returned to service. If my attachment does not come through, you are able to Google the information. GFA AD 369 issue 1 Grounding all of the LET L-13 Blanik gliders will severely damage glider flights/flying and glider training within the U.S.A. glider community. The U.S.A. (of course other countries operate them as well)glider community (commercial/club) is heavily invested in the L-13 glider and could potentially put commercial operators and club operators out of business due to the loss of investment associated with the LET L-13 Blanik. r/Jim
