Compliance with this A.D. in Paragraph (e) calls for a inspection and installation of a cross member and two each doublers to be installed at stations X2165, X2325, and Y269 in accordance with Eurocopter ASB 53.00.37 for a AS350B3.It is my understanding these structural components to be installed will reduce the repetitive loads to the cross member located at station X2325 caused by the collective to yaw control coupling. Effectivity for ASB 53.00.37 only applies to models with a collective to yaw control coupling installed. Models without this collective to yaw control coupling installed do not have any attachment of the tail rotor pitch flex cable to the cross member located at station X2325. The tail rotor pitch flex cable is routed through this cross member through a grommet. Please consider a revision of this AD to only be applicable to models with this yaw coupling installed as indicated in the Service Bulletins this AD references. Thank you for your time.
