Because in the meantime Instructions for Continued Airworthiness have been issued to cover this item pre and post modification I am requesting to review the established ADs as attached in this email and to implement the changes highlighted. The ICA has been justified by fatigue testing and the compliance has already been shown in the type investigation performed with Change notices CN-01017 issue 02 & CN-F0575 issue 02 as approved. The justified Fatigue inspection interval is 1500 Flight Cycles. We as responsible design organisation consider the introduction of the inspection of the affected area into the MRBR as terminating action to the ADs for the repetitive inspection procedures. For the FAA AD 2008-10-51 we are asking you to delete the repetitive NDT inspection (para. g) of 400 FH, which is now covered by MRBR 1500 Flight Cycle Special Detailed (Eddy Current) inspection. Justification for the Fatigue Inspection Interval is prooven by fatigue testing. Compliance documents can be provided on request.
