We discovered on several Astra/SPX/G-100's that the right wheelwell has no wire harness to chaff, and have not found any foam in that area. The left one does have the harness and it also has been the source of the foam material. Upon further inspections, we also found both forward ends of the 25W653120-539 and -540 transfer tubes terminate at the forward wing root areas at part number XXXX-571 and -572 fuel tubes. Both of these areas have the same foam material wrapped around them and wire harnesses along side them. Corrosion was evident on both. This was found on two aircraft we looked at. Neither of the wingroot areas are mentioned in the Service Bulletin instructions
