This is JAL's comment.
Ref/A/ through /M/ Boeing and GE Aviation service bulletins need to be revised.
Detail of those revisions of ref/A/ through /D/ are correcting or adding wire numbers, module numbers, connector numbers and figure numbers.
And revisions of ref/C/ through /M/ is adding another procedure to install labels or separating conversion kit into label and others.
Concerning labels, when JAL get conversion kit, the shelf life of labels are not enough to plan those SBs.
And also it takes too much time to get new labels. Therefore JAL has requested GE Aviation to revise their SB as stated before.
If AD issues before these SB revisions, operators need to get many AMOCs.
Now GE Aviation and Boeing are discussing this issues. JAL requests to issue AD after these SB revisions completed.
In addition, JAL will send another comment to NPRM 2010-NM-187-AD.
Best Regards,
Japan Airlines (JAL)
