Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
European Air Transport (EAT), a company of DHL carefully examined the AD Notice of Proposed Rulemaking 2009-NM-229-AD and would like to provide the following comment:
DHL discovered that in the proposed AD the credits for actions accomplished in accordance with previouse service information paragraph (k), (l) and (m) do only refer to the SB 757-24-0106 which is only applicable to the B757-300.
DHL suggests that the accomplishment of the 757-24-0105 Rev. 5 before the affective date of the AD is acceptable for compliance.
Therefore DHL proposes to add an paragraph to the AD stating that :
(x) Inspections and corrective actions done before the effective date of this AD in accordance with the Boeing Special Attention Service Bulletin 757-24-0105, Revision 5, dated July 30, 2009, is acceptable for compliance with the corresponding actions required by paragraph (i) of this AD.
Thank you for the comment invitation.
Best regards
Edwin Kruse
