Airworthiness Directive 2011-13-03 applies to Lycoming Engines and Teledyne Continental Motors (TCM) turbocharged reciprocating engines.
Earlier this year, Continental Motors was purchased from Teledyne Industries by the Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) of the People's Republic of China. The company is now known as Continental Motors Inc.
The heading and text of the AD should be revised to reflect the new company name, and the abbreviation TCM should be removed except as necessary to properly identify the former holders of the type certificates for applicable engine models.
