I think that the FAA is unfairly penalizing current existing Eclipsee customers due to this AD. I was considering buying an Eclipse, but will not until this matter gets resolved. There are dozens of Eclipse owners who have been flying this plane continuously for years with no problems and it seems quite punitive for the FAA to now restrict them all to FL 300 which is very inconvenient and costly.
