The AD is excessive and places undue burden and hardship on the owners.
The aircraft have been flying for a number of years, with minimal problems with engines.
I respectfully suggest a more moderate solution as suggested by other interested parties, namely, limit the amount of time at FLT level 370 to 85 minutes.
This will meet the FAA's objectives of promoting aviation AND safety, much better than the current AD does.
The TRUE, and greatest impact of any FAA intervention in this case will be achieved by the FAA forcing the manufacturer to meet it's obligation in this case AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
The manufacturer has not been held accountable by anyone, it seems. WHY? Holding the manufacturer responsible and demanding an immediate fix for all affected aircraft will meet the goals of safety in a much more fair and equitable manner.
