New AD requirements states that within 6 years from the effective date of the AD P/N 65B27042-( ) or 65B27046-( ) must be replaced by new P/N 141U4821-( ) or 141U4822-( ) and that P/N 65B27043-( ) or 65B27047-( ) must be replaced by new P/N 141U4831-( ) or 141U4832-( ). UAL notes the SB 747-56A2012 states that if window is an an all acrylic window, such as P/N 65B07639-( ) and 65B07640-( ), no more work is necessary. UAL would like to see a statement added into the AD that all acrylic windows are not affected by this AD, or that the 6-year threshold for replacing the windows does not apply if an all-acrylic window is installed. Also, please add a clarification in the AD whether an AMOC is required if an installed new P/N window is replaced by an all-acrylic window, or if this is acceptable.
