I routinely fly & instruct At Lantana. Increasing the Class C floor to 1600 ft would increase safety by >300%. As it is now, most acft use an East/West route to get to training areas with only 200ft separation in altitude. The additional 400 ft would allow for standard separation of 500ft, especially in the hi-density area around the traffic pattern.
