I am a full time flight instructor on the field at Lantana Airport. This airspace change is badly needed. If the limits of the proposed airspace change were slightly modified as per the attached sketch, I believe it would simplify things for the PB-Approach controllers and facilitate smooth operations for the rotary, and fixed wing traffic at Lantana as far as patttern entry and egress. Many aircraft, including high performance and cargo fixed wing types leave KLNA for the Bahamas daily. The ability to proceed Eastbound at or below 1,599' would be of great help. As the proposed airspace is designed, all traffic would have to proceed Southbound if above 1,200' and below 1,599' until clear of the Class C airpsace of PBI. In addition, dozens of instructional flights leave and enter the traffic pattern of KLNA from the West and SouthWest daily. The practice areas (A-291-A and Just North and East of A291-A and VPOBA) require South West ingress / egress operations from Lantana. A slight modification to your proposed rule would give us a safety advantage in terms of airspace volume for traffic avoidance. Thank you for your consideration. David J.
