The Robinson blade debonding problem is soley a product of poor inspection practices and/or lack of maintenance by a minority of lazy pilots and frugal owner / operators.
I have no problem with regular or daily inspection of the rotor blades. I do however think that mandatory replacement of good & servicable rotor blades is not warranted.
Requiring those of us who inspect and maintain our rotor blades on a regular basis to replace our good and serviceable rotor blades is horribly un-fair.
We, the majority should not be penalized for the poor performance of the minority of pilots/owners/operators who do not properly inspect and maintain their aircraft.
I strongly urge you to NOT require a mandatory replacement of all Robinson rotor blades.
Thank you,
Guy Thomas
