Dear Sir/Madam, The AD is quite ambiguous. First of all, is there any termination action for this AD after the effective date. Secondly, no inspection method is provided. It is stated that operators must get in touch with ANS-116 for the inspection methods. Lastly, even getting the IDG on hold list is not clear enough. The AD yet again refers to ANS-116 when proceeding with the hold of IDG. Therefore, we, as Onur Air, are seeking for clarification regarding these items. We would like to terminate this AD. If not possible then we would like to have a clear instruction on how to examine the IDG harness and connector following a in flight manual or automatic shut down. Yours truly,
