The MLG actuator is a life limited item. Its life limit is listed under AMM Chapter 4 - FAA approved airworthiness limitations, and is based on flight cycles. Most of P180 operators take note of its life in flight cycles. For operators with higher flight hour/flight cycles (more than 1), the compliance limit presented in FH would be more stringent than required. On the contrary, for operators performing shorter flights (hence with a flight hours/flight cycles lower than 1) the compliance imit presented in FH would be relaxed with reference to the supporting Service Bulletin. I suggest to define the compiance limit for actuator replacement as follow: "before affected actuators reach 3000 landings, replace...; only if landings accrued by the actuator are not available, replace the affected actuator before reaching 3000 hours TIS..." or similar.
