As the operator of a repair station I wholeheartedly agree with the intent of this proposed policy statement. It is high time that DAHs be held accountable to the FARs with the same scrutiny and vigor that repair stations are. It is very difficult to comply with the data requirements of Part 145 as long as DAHs are not made to comply with Part 21.50. I would like to point out that the appendices of Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29 also apply to appliances as well as engines and propellers. I would like to see the language of this policy statement include appliances.
