DESCRIPTION:
======================
1. SAS have previously accomplishing Ref. /A/ inspections as an alternate method of compliance to Ref. /B/ AD and have received clarification from the manufacturer regarding the shear web removal step in Part 1 and Part 2 of Ref. /A/.
2. Revision bars are missing in Ref. /A/ for Group 1, 3: Part 1 Inspection of S-16L door stop intercostals from BS 348.2 to BS 360 and at Group 1, 3: Part 2 Inspection of S-7L to S-16L intercostals from BS 294.5 to BS 303.9 and S-7L to S-15L intercostals from BS 348.2 to BS 360.
3. The missing revision bars make it look as though the text was carried over from Ref. /C/. Inspection according to Ref. /C/ is a Ref. /B/ AD requirement. Closer review of Ref. /C/ shows that shear web removal is not part of that inspection and is not required for Ref. /B/ compliance.
4. SAS understand that the shear web removal step is probably required if the Ref. /D/ and Ref./A/ inspections will be accomplished concurrently. However, shear web removal is not always required to complete the Ref. /A/ inspections.
