Regarding Boeing SB 737-30A1063, Boeing recommends that the change given in this service bulletin be done within 24 months from the original issue date of this service bulletin: till 15-Nov-2013. And this work requires to route wires from the inside of the cockpit to the outside wall of the cockpit. So, even though this is not a so complicated work, it should be performed during heavy maintenance period like 'C' check and generally this 'C' check is performed every 2 years. The original released date was 16-Nov-11 and almost 6 months were already passed Because KAL has 36 aircrafts which are affected by this SB, it is too difficult to complete this work till the current compliance So, KAL would like to ask to extend this compliance as "30 or more months from the released date of this revision."
