Unmanned Aircraft System Test Sites

View Comment

Experimental Trials of Unmanned Aerial Systems. Altogether too much special use airspace exists. Use existing restricted areas, military operations areas and similar for the UAS. Make certain that more than one system is available to warn pilots of manned aircraft of the presence of UAS near them, transponders, ADF beacons, visual signals, especially flashing strobe lights of specified color and frequency. Especially for MOA's where non-military flight is basicly "at your own risk" the information should be provided through flight briefers when pilots call for weather, hazards, etc.
