Paragraph (g) states to “Do an inspection for a serial number that starts with the letters ‘‘SAIC’’ on the identification plates of the left- and right-side horizontal stabilizers, in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of Boeing Service Bulletin 737–55–1090, dated March 30, 2011.” SWA believes that the intent of the above portion of paragraph (g) can be accomplished via records research in lieu of a physical inspection. The Accomplishment Instructions of Boeing Service Bulletin 737–55–1090, dated March 30, 2011, do not address records research as a method to determine the serial number of the horizontal stabilizer. SWA Proposed Solutions: Reword paragraph (g) to state “Determine if the serial number of the left- and right-side horizontal stabilizers start with the letters “SAIC”.
