I am very much in favor of letting pilots fly under "Third Class Medical" conditions with out having to obtain a third class medical certificate. As a former Army Guard Helicopter pilot, and a private fixed wing pilot, I would appreciate the flexibility and responsibly of being able to fly without having the hassle and expense of seeing a flight doctor every two years. The last time I have flown was four years ago when I sold my plane. One of the things keeping me from flying is shelling out $200+ just to get a medical so I could fly once in a while... I think you would be well serving the aviation community by supporting this proposal. Thank you. Andrew J. Bangsberg. 750+ hours rotary wing 300+ hours fixed wing
