A few months ago I watched a story on the news about pilots who were forced to sleep under horrific living conditions in 'crashpads' while waiting for their next flight. The amendments made to existing FAA regulations are wonderful because they help eliminate the risks involved with fatigue in flight crew members. Therefore passengers can fly assured that their pilot is well rested and that the risk for error is greatly decreased due to these new regulations.
